The Lloytron Universal Battery Charger B044 is a versatile mains-powered charger designed for a wide range of rechargeable household batteries, including AA, AAA, C, D and 9V (PP3) sizes.
Compatible with both NiMH and NiCd rechargeable batteries, the charger can handle 2 or 4 batteries at a time, including mixed pairs of different supported sizes. This makes it a practical choice for households using rechargeable batteries across toys, clocks, torches, radios, remote controls and other compatible devices.
The charger plugs directly into a standard UK mains socket and features red charging indicator lights to show when batteries are inserted and charging. Please note that the indicator lights do not show when charging is complete, so charging time should be calculated according to battery capacity and the charger’s stated charging rate.
For AA, AAA, C and D batteries, the charging rate is 1.2V DC 120mA, while 9V PP3 batteries charge at DC 14mA.
Built-in safety features include overcharge protection, reverse polarity protection and automatic short-circuit protection, helping provide safer everyday charging when used correctly.
